Chantell Hassan is an interdisciplinary Mozambican artist who works with installation, video, performance and sculpture. Her practice is considered a continuous research on post-colonial clarifications, identity and spirituality policies. Using her multidisciplinary platform as a playground, she blurs the boundaries between performance, theater and real life; merging translation errors between text and visual language.
Her goal is to decolonize minds through art and performance.
Chantell Hassan was born and raised in Beira Mozambique and is currently finishing her BA in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague, Netherlands.
